Monsignor Donovan High School Football


Head coach: Dan Duddy (2006-present)

Career record: 17-33 at Monsignor Donovan. Also previously coached at Central, leading the Golden Eagles to their only state sectional final appearance in 1994. Duddy is also the president of the Shore Football Coaches Foundation.

Former coach: Dennis Tobin. Went 11-19 in 3 seasons with the Griffins.

1976 (No game was played on the field. Declared the winner in Parochial B South when no other teams qualified. School was known as St. Joseph's at the time).


APPEARANCES IN STATE SECTIONAL FINALS - 2: 1974 (no game was played), 1992 (lost 28-7 to Holy Cross in Parochial A South).

NJSIAA STATE PLAYOFF APPEARANCES - 7: 1976, 1980, 1983, 1992, 1993, 1999, 2000, 2004.
